What happens when you start cleaning things. Like the dust settled in between the keys of your keyboard? (wait a second, there is dust settled in between the keys of my keyboard) Ok. I am speaking of the tendency of us humans to bind our expectations on the 'top' contenders This TOP mentality has programmed us into believing that others that are not top are Blah. To be honest, for the most part of my life I have been a self-help hog. You give me any article with a click- baity tittle something on the lines like, 3 tips to change your life and become hyperproductive 20 small habits that will boost your life The only life advice you need chances are I would have clicked on it. Oogled on its content, given the circuits in my brain instant, feel-good fodder (just found the title to my next blog, Self-help = Feel good fodder) and then moved on feeling great about reading that piece of information....days later life is still the same. Are there happy hormones and sad hormones in our body? Ya. But sad hormones are nothing but the body not being able to produce certain essential hormones that eventually F#$Ks the body up. <insert a SAX intro to please audience with words> We all have an inner voice ....said every self-help guru ever No, but seriously you know you have felt it... creeping in at times when least expected and then creeping it in broad daylight. If you are a blogger, who likes writing on cool things (like smartphones, whey protein), or on not-so-cool things (like the color grey, the composition of plastic) or just things (like god) you would have very well at some point of time during your ordeal felt the need to research. So its yet another day. I wake up feeling staring at the blank ceiling; a hollow void within. I step out of bed and immediately the thoughts to sleep again come rushing in. This isn't lethargy. Or is it? I am not sure anymore. I am lost. blank and hollow. This is familiar territory. The one I fear, the one I can't seem to escape.  This is what my life has been for the last five months. Now I am scared, will this feeling ever leave me. Am I doomed forever?  Depression is not just a fancy word, it's a lifestyle and I seem to be killing it!
